The HuD Group has three levels of Membership: Provisional, Penultimate and Permanent. The following are various capacities in which a Member/non-Member of The Group may serve:

(1) Executive Council: The Executive Council (Board) meets once a quarter to approve the programs and products for the year, and to take major decisions concerning the group. Only Permanent Members of The HuD Group may be elected to sit on the Executive Council during the Group's Annual General Meeting.

(2) Management Team: The heads of all the Divisions and Departments and a few heads of Divisional/Departmental units form the Management Team which meets once a month to set goals, evaluate the performance of each department, set policy and take other managerial level decisions concerning the group. Divisions and Departments meet regularly to plan and execute their quota towards the fulfilment of the broader Group vision.

(3) Employed Staff: A person whose services have been legally engaged by The HuD Group.

(4) Volunteer: A person who has pledged to offer his/her services to The HuD Group as and when needed for non-financial compensation. One must sign up and renew commitment periodically.

(a) Volunteer Staff : One who occupies a potentially employable position i.e a permanent position on The HuD Group organogram.

(b) Honorary Volunteer: One who assists in his/her professional capacity.

(5) Friend: A person who has not signed up as a Member but has an interest in helping with tasks at a definite time.

(6) Agent : One contracted to conduct an assignment on behalf of The HuD Group eg. sell our books.

(7) Partner : An individual or corporate entity who for a specified time period signs up to collaborate with The HuD Group for a specific event and/or product in achieving the vision of the Group.
