The HuD Institute® is a division of the HuD Group that develops and organizes seminars. Our seminars focus on REAL behavioral change that seeks to touch on the “5 Ls” of the HuD Group. That is the need to LINK- up with God to meet the individual’s spiritual needs, the need to LIVE by taking care of our physical health and personal development, the need to LOVE by networking with the right people-Mentors, Mates and Minnows while we avoid the ‘Messers’, the need to LEARN-the need for mental development and the need to leave a good LEGACY for generations.

Vision
To have a well established and independent HuD Institute with a global/mobile dimension to produce “REAL” leaders who will be the envy of world class organizations.

R-Leaders who are Relevant in society (assets to society, entrepreneurial, problem solving, etc.)

E-Leaders who are Excellent in whatever they do (well sort after, have the competence and confidence to pioneer their own businesses.

A-Leaders who have the right Attitude (character based)

L-Leaders who leave good Legacies for generations. (produce life coaches by transferring skills and knowledge

Goals

• Build a multi-purpose facility where REAL leaders will be produced to positively impact society. (In the facility will be the physical structure, video conferencing centre multi-media library-books, electronic, audio visual etc.
• Run an all-year-long programmes and courses that will equip and empower people to become “REAL” leaders.

The following seminars are presently available and runs at specific times of the year but could be held upon request.

Start Right…End Big: This is an interactive seminar on developing a personal campus mission statement, setting and achieving goals for success as a student. Start Right…End Big has been successfully organized at the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast Polytechnic, All Nations University, Ashesi University, Zenith College among other seasoned places of learning.

On Course® : A series of seminars on various topics designed to help young people stay on course to achieve their mission and meet the goals they have set (especially as a follow-up to Start Right.End Big® ). After completing these seminars participants should have begun to develop skills such as effective study skills, critical thinking, self discipline, public speaking etc.

Financial Whizzdom Seminars: This is a series of three seminars aimed at teaching Paradigm-shifting, purpose driven, principle-centered, character-based and holistic personal financial leadership and exposing participants to the various investment options available.

• 10-10-80 Financial Whizzdom Seminar: This is a basic introduction to financial management and investment where participants are introduced to the 4Ps of financial whizzdom.
  • Paradigms of personal finance and investment
  • Purpose of investment and wealth creation including financial goal-setting and budgeting
  • Principles of investment
  • Process of investment (money and character-building)
• 70-30 Financial Whizzdom Seminar: This is to enlighten participants about the various segments of the financial market, their respective financial instruments and different players in the financial market to enable them make informed choices as investors.
• 20-20 Financial Whizzdom Seminar: This is designed primarily for investment clubs and it tackles issues like;
  • Starting investment clubs
  • Sustaining investment clubs
  • Valuation of assets etc.
• Real Estate Riches: This course introduces participants to new and emerging markets in Ghana and Africa. Participants after this course appreciate the;
  • Fundamentals of real estate (why real estate over financial market)
  • How to find highly motivated sellers
  • Funding (how to finance bargain properties)
  • How to harvest your profits
• Entrepreneurship: This also help individuals to turn ideas into business solutions and have entrepreneurship as a mindset. Participants are also taken through the various ways of sourcing for capital as well as the how to put together a winning proposal

SeXsense : An interactive seminar aimed at encouraging young people to be sexually pure by using other young people who have been able to live sexually upright life. Here, the HuD Group’s value of no condomNation is emphasized and participants are challenged to abstain from sex until marriage. Testimonies abound for people who have participated in this programme just as the other ones.

Purpose Driven Life (Rick Warren): This is an interactive seminar where participants are introduced to the five fundamental truths about Life’s Mission- Understanding Purpose.

Operation Purpose: This is a follow up to the Purpose Driven Life and this aims at helping participants to put together a personal mission statement that guide their lives and what to consider a priority in life.

Purpose Driven Church (Rick Warren): This seminar emphasizes principles that make the church a balanced church-Purpose Drive! The Purpose-Driven Church shifts the focus away from church building programmes to emphasizing a people-building process. “The issue is church health and not growth!” declares Warren. “If your church is healthy, growth will occur naturally.
